Faculty Onboarding

Needs assessment, stakeholder alignment & implementation support

×

01 · Challenge

New faculty needed a coherent introduction to schoolwide expectations, structures, resources, and ways of working.

02 · Needs / Context

The onboarding experience needed to organize a large amount of school-specific information while helping participants process and apply it.

03 · My Role

I designed the onboarding experience and supporting materials, including the presentation and participant note catcher.

04 · Analysis / Approach

I organized content around what new faculty needed to know, understand, and do, then sequenced information to support clarity and practical use.

05 · Solution

A structured faculty-onboarding experience that paired facilitated content with a note-taking and reflection resource.

06 · Implementation

I built the materials for the 2026–2027 onboarding cycle and used them to support new-faculty orientation.

07 · Results / Impact

The project produced a reusable onboarding presentation and participant resource. Formal outcome data has not been added to this case study.

08 · Tools

PowerPoint · Facilitation design · Adult-learning principles · Performance support

09 · What I Learned / Next Iteration

Dense organizational information becomes more actionable when it is sequenced around participant decisions and responsibilities. Next: add participant feedback and refine based on recurring questions.
